The
harsh and arid plains of Samburu National
Reserve are home to certain species of game
which are unique in Kenya to the northern
parks; Beisa Oryx, the long- necked gerenuk,
Grevy’s zebra, blue-shanked Somali ostrich
and reticulated giraffe. A safari in the
exclusive luxury camps of Kenya.
Day 1
Fly in the morning to Samburu Game Reserve
where you will be met and transferred to
your camp for lunch, an afternoon game
drive, dinner and overnight at the luxurious
Samburu Intrepids Club or equivalent.
Day 2
Full day of game watching starting with an
early wake-up call for a hot cup of coffee
/tea, soon after, the early morning game
drive. Though temperatures are a bit low in
the morning, this is the golden opportunity
to watch the animals at their active
moments. Go searching for more game in the
afternoon and not to miss the beautiful
sceneries. Dinner served in your camp and
overnight at the luxurious Samburu Intrepids
Club or equivalent.
Day 3
An early morning game drive perhaps along
the Ewaso Nyiro River, which forms the
southern boundary of the park. Many small
herds of elephant are often seen bathing in
the River or browsing in the riverine
forests along the riverbanks. After
breakfast at your camp you drive to the
airstrip for your flight to Masai Mara,
which arrives at approximately midday.
Day 4
You will check into the lodge, followed by
lunch. Afternoon game drive starts at 1530
and ends between 1800-1830. All meals and
overnight at the exclusive Mara Intrepids
Club.
Day 5
Early morning game drive at 0630 returning
for full breakfast at 0900. Afternoon at
leisure followed by 1530 game drive, dinner
and overnight at the camp. All meals and
overnight at the Club.
Day 6
Early morning game drive, breakfast at 0830
and depending on your flight schedule depart
for Nairobi’s Wilson airport. |
