In
addition to the big five, the harsh and arid
plains of Samburu National Reserve are home
to certain species of game which are unique
in Kenya to the northern parks; Beisa Oryx,
the long- necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra,
blue-shanked Somali ostrich and reticulated
giraffe.
Day 1
Fly in the morning to Samburu Game Reserve
where you will be met and transferred to
your camp for lunch, an afternoon game
drive, dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Full day of game watching starting with an
early wake-up call for a hot cup of coffee
/tea, soon after, the early morning game
drive. Though temperatures are a bit low in
the morning, this is the golden opportunity
to watch the animals at their active
moments. Go searching for more game in the
afternoon and not to miss the beautiful
sceneries. Dinner served in your camp and
overnight.
Day 3
An early morning game drive perhaps along
the Ewaso Nyiro River, which forms the
southern boundary of the park. Many small
herds of elephant are often seen bathing in
the River or browsing in the riverine
forests along the riverbanks. After
breakfast at your camp you drive to the
airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi,
which arrives in the city at approximately
midday. |
